In the late 1980s, the wind turbine market faced quality issues arising from the young industry's lack of experience. In response, Winergy developed rigorous test programs for all gearboxes and other drive train components. Each and every drive train component - whether new or serviced - must pass our challenging test runs. With more than 110 MW of test-bench capacity, Winergy is the current leader in this area.

The new gearbox concept High DensityX  unites power density, reliability and efficiency on a new level. The concept set new market standards by increasing torque density by more than 25 percent up to 200 Nm/kg while relying on our proven gearbox design.

SIMULATION OF EXTREME CONDITIONS

In addition to overload test runs, our gearbox prototypes are also tested for their functionality under all ambient conditions in our climate chamber. All other Winergy products and components have to withstand rigorous testing, too. Only in this way we can ensure that error-free drive components are delivered, which generate reliable electricity thereby drawing profit for our customers. For Winergy, quality is not a local issue. Winergy has integrated the same uncompromising quality standards into all of its production and service facilities - without exceptions.
